Day 01 : Arrive Mumbai
Kick start the tour to Forts and Palaces of India with arriving at the Mumbai International Airport where our tour executive will be waiting for you. Upon arrival, our tour operator will drive you to the hotel where overnight stay arrangements are made for you.
Day 02 : Mumbai – Bhavnagar (by flight)
Have a lavish breakfast and then a relaxing morning. Later in the afternoon, you will be transported to the Mumbai Domestic Airport to fly to Bhavnagar. Bhavnagar is famous for its flourishing industries and cotton products. As soon as you arrive here, you will be taken to a heritage to hotel to check in. Later in the evening you will pay visit to the beautiful Takhteshwar Temple which enshrines Lord Shiva and commands the panoramic vistas of the Gulf of Cambay. Day 03 : Bhavnagar – Palitana - Lothal (220 kms)

Day 04 : Lothal - Ahmedabad (85 kms / 1.5 hrs)
Post breakfast you will be taken on a half-day city tour of Lothal covering excavation sites. In the afternoon, you will travel to Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad is famous for flaunting a combination of Indo-Saracenic architectural features. Upon arrival, you will sign in at one of the best city hotel. In the evening, you can splurge on shopping in the city of Ahmedabad exploring its colorful bazaars. You will return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 05 : Ahmedabad
Today you will see the city of Ahmedabad from close quarters visiting some of the much talked about tourist attractions like Sabarmati Ashram, tombs of Ahmed Shah and his queens, Jama Masjid, Dada Hari-Wav Step wells and the Calico Museum of Textiles. You are required to spend the night at the hotel.
Day 06 : Ahmedabad – Modhera – Udaipur (370 kms / 6 hrs)
The next destination that makes a beeline in the Tour Packages for Forts and Palaces of India is Modhera. Post breakfast the journey would start off. You will pay a visit to the Sun Temple here that was erected in 1026 AD. The temple boasts of rich carvings of Gods and Goddesses, birds, beasts and flowers. You are sure to feel impressed. Day 07 : Udaipur
Venture on a daylong sightseeing city tour of Udaipur covering City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon-ki-Bari (gardens). You will also be taken on an excursion tour to Eklingi Jain Temples. The daylong tour will happen after the morning breakfast. At the end of the day you will be driven back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 08 : Udaipur – Chittorgarh (112 kms / 2 hrs)
Post breakfast, you will be driven to Chittorgarh. Chittorgarh was the fortified capital city of Mewar Rulers. Upon arrival, you will sign in at the hotel and get fresh. Later, you will be taken on a guided city tour to pay a visit to the invincible Chittorgarh Fort which is 180 meters in height. You will retreat to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 9 : Chittorgarh - Pushkar (205 kms / 4 hrs)
The Forts and Palaces Tour in India is now heading for Pushkar, the holiest Hindu town and pilgrimage center. The drive will be started after the breakfast. On reaching, you will first go to the only temple of Lord Brahma in India. Later in the evening you can simply rest and relax. You will be staying overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : Pushkar – Jaipur (120 kms / 2 hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will move towards Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan. As soon as you reach, you will check in at the hotel and get fresh. Then, you will embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of the city including Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, City Palace and Jantar Mantar Royal Observatory. You will be spending the night at the hotel.
Day 11 : Jaipur

Later, you will pay a visit to the impregnable Amber Fort riding on the elephant back. In the evening you are free to roam around the city of Jaipur and take a close look at its bustling local bazaars laden with rich handicrafts. You will be staying overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 : Jaipur – Agra (232 kms / 4.5 hrs)
Today after breakfast, you will drive to Agra visiting the deserted Mughal Town known as Fatehpur Sikri on the way. The major tourist attraction of this city is the complex replete with monuments and temples. Later you will have your lunch and then resume your drive to Agra. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel followed by a visit to the local bazaars in the city in the evening. You will be staying overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 : Agra – Gwalior (120 kms)

Post breakfast, you will cover the architectural marvels of the city including Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Later, you will have a delicious lunch treat and then move towards Gwalior. Upon arrival, you will sign in at the hotel. In the evening you are free to spend the time at your own leisure. You are required to spend the night at the hotel.
Day 14 : Gwalior – Orchha (120 kms / 2 hrs)
Today after breakfast you will pay a visit to the timeless 15th century Gwalior Fort and many of its onsite tourist attractions like Man Mandir, Gujari Mahal, Teli-ka-Mandir, the Sas-Bahu temples and the Chhatris. In the afternoon you will leave the city to proceed to Orchha. You will be spending the night at the hotel in Orchha.
Day 15 : Orchha - Delhi (by train)
Enjoy a half-day guided city tour of Orchha after the breakfast. You will get to see attractive temples and palaces here. Some of the major draws of the city that will mesmerize you entirely include Jahangir Mahal, Rajmahal and Phool Bagh. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Jhansi by road. Upon arrival, you will board a connecting train to Delhi which reaches its destination late in the evening. You will be transported to the hotel in Delhi upon arrival.
Day 16 : Delhi
On this last day of the Forts and Palaces of India Tour, you will enjoy a morning breakfast and then be transported to the airport to leave for onward travel destination.
