 Day 01: Arrive Mumbai
The tour on the trail of the Footsteps of Lord Buddha starts with your arrival at the Mumbai airport. On your arrival, you will be met and greeted by the tour representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai
Today you will be taken to visit the Elephanta Caves in the morning. In the afternoon you will be taken to visit the Gateway of India, the Towers of Silence, Dhobi Ghat and the Hanging Garden. You are scheduled to spend the night at Mumbai.
Day 03: Mumbai - Aurangabad
Today you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for Aurangabad. On your arrival at Aurangabad, the tour representative will meet and assist you to the hotel. Later during the day you will be taken on an excursion to Ajanta Caves. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 04: Aurangabad – Bhopal
On the fourth day of the Footsteps of Lord Buddha Tour Package, you will be taken on an excursion to the Ellora caves, which are 300 years.
Day 05: Aurangabad –Jalgaon - Bhopal
You will be transferred to the railway station to board the train to Bhopal. On your arrival at Bhopal, the tour representative will meet and assist you to check into the hotel. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
 Day 06: Bhopal
On the sixth day of the Footsteps of Lord Buddha tour in India, you will be taken on an excursion to Sanchi. Later during the day you can visit the Sanchi Stupa. Overnight stay is scheduled at Sanchi.
Day 07: Bhopal – Jhansi - Orchha
Today you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Bhopal in the morning. In the afternoon, on time assistance will be provided to transfer you to the railway station to board the train to Jhansi. On your arrival at Jhansi, the tour representative will meet and assist you and to the hotel at Orchha. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 08: Orchha - Khajuaraho
Today you are scheduled to leave for Khajuarho, by road. In the afternoon, you can take a city tour of Khajuraho, which will comprise of a visit to the Eastern & Western group of temples. Overnight stay is scheduled at Khajuraho.
Day 09: Khajuraho - Varanasi
This day will be spent more in leisure. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi. On your arrival at Varanasi, you will be met by tour representatives who will take you on an excursion to Sarnath. Later during the day you are scheduled to drive back to Varanasi. Overnight stay is scheduled at Varanasi.
Day 10: Varanasi
Early in the morning, you will be taken on a boat cruises on the holy river of Ganges. Return to hotel for breakfast and later during the day you will be taken on a city tour of Varanasi, where you will get to visit the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Banaras Hindu University and Mosque of Aurangazeb. The afternoon will be spent in leisure. Overnight stay is scheduled at Varanasi.
 Day 11: Varanasi - Bodhgaya
Early in the morning take a boat ride on the river Ganges. Later during the day, check out from the hotel and drive to Bodhgaya. On your arrival at Bodhgaya, check into a hotel. Bodhgaya is the place where Budhha received his Enlightenment and for this fact the place is considered sacred by Buddhists allover the world. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 12: Bodhgaya
Today you will be taken for a guided sightseeing trip of Bodhgaya, which will comprise of a visit to the Maha Bodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree, the Chinese Temple, Niranjana River and the Sujata Temple. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 13: Bodhgaya - Patna
On the thirteenth day of trailing the Footsteps of Budhha, you will be driven to Patna. On the route you will get to visit Gridhakuta Hill and Bimbisara Jail in Rajgir. Further you are scheduled to proceed to Nalanda, which was established in the 5th century B.C. On your arrival at Patna, you will be required to check into the hotel for an overnight stay. Later during the day you will be taken on a city tour which would comprise of a visit to the Har Mandir Sahib, Golghar and Patna Museum. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 14: Patna - Kushinagar
Today you will be driven to Kushinagar. On your arrival at Kushinagar, you are required to check into the hotel. You will be taken on a guided sightseeing tour, which will include a visit to the Rambhar Stupa and Mahaparinirvana temple. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 15: Kushinagar - Saravasti (Balrampur)
Today you are scheduled to drive to Balrampur. On your arrival at Balrampur, check into the hotel. Later during the day you are scheduled to proceed to visit the Sahet Mahet, the Jetawana Gardens and the Buddhist temples. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel in Saravasti.
Day 16: Saravasti - Lumbini
Today you are scheduled to drive to Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. On your arrival at Lumbini, you are scheduled to check into the hotel. The day is spent almost at leisure and the night is scheduled to be spent in the hotel.
Day 17: Lumbini - Chitwan
The day starts with a short sightseeing trip around Lumbini, you are scheduled to drive to Chitwan. On your arrival at Chitwan, check-in to the Jungle Lodge. The evening can be spent at leisure. Overnight stay is scheduled at the Jungle Resort.
Day 18: Chitwan - Kathmandu
In the morning, you will be taken on a Jungle Safari on a jeep or on a Canteryou’re your jungle safari you will be accompanied by a naturalist who will help you in understanding the scenario of the jungle easily and in a better way. Later during the day you are scheduled to drive to Kathmandu. On your arrival at Kathmandu, check-in to a hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 19: Kathmandu
In the morning, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour, which will comprise of a visit to the Sayambhunath Stupa, which is a 2,000 year old Stupa. This Stupa was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in the year 1979. In the afternoon, you are required to proceed to Bouddhanath Stupa, which is an ancient colossal Stupa and is the centre of Tibetan Buddism in Nepal. A visit to the Pasupatinath Temple is also listed on the itinerary. Overnight stay is scheduled at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 20: Kathmandu
In the morning, you will be taken on a tour of Patan city. In the evening you can explore the surroundings on your own. Dinner and overnight stay is scheduled at Kathmandu.
Day 21: Kathmandu - Delhi
This is the last day of the 21-30 days tour package of trailing the Footsteps of Lord Budhha. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Delhi. On your arrival at Delhi, you will be served the dinner and then will be transferred to the International airport to board the flight for onward destination.
