Day 01 : Arrive in Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi, you will be extended a warm and hearty welcome by our amicable tour representative. You will then be escorted to a luxury hotel. After enjoying a sumptuous lunch, you will be embarking on a city tour of Old and New Delhi. The city tour incorporates visits to a number of popular landmarks that include the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar.Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi - Sultanpur - Delhi
The second day of the Bird Paradise Tour begins with a filling breakfast at the hotel which is promptly followed by a daylong excursion to Sultanpur Jheel (50 km-1hour). If you are an avid bird lover, then this charmingly beautiful lake bird sanctuary will keep you occupied for the rest of the day. During your sojourn at Sultanpur do not miss the opportunity to take snaps of waterfowls and cranes found in abundance there. We are scheduled to return to Delhi in the evening with dining and lodging arrangements made at the hotel. When it's time to hit the sack, you will be retiring to the snug comfort of your room.
Day 03 : Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur
This seems to be a really tiring day with a series of spots to cover. Post breakfast, we will be heading towards Agra. About 11/2 hour's drive, we will be reaching Agra by noon. What follows next is visits to some of the popular tourist attractions like the spectacular and awe-inspiring Taj Mahal and the magnificent Agra Fort.
Later, we will be driving to Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary at Bharatpur. Along the way, you will be visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned 16th century Mughal town reputed for its Bulund Darwaza and the much famed Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti- the renowned Sufi saint of India.
On reaching the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, we will be checking into the Forest Lodge/Resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 : Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
The fourth day of the Bird Paradise Tour starts off with the early morning bird watching trail or a boat ride through the marshes that is the ideal way to explore the rich and diverse flora and fauna of the park. A rickshaw or a bicycle ride is highly recommended to help you spot a wide array of exotic and colorful birds in the sanctuary, in the afternoon. You will have your dinner and spend the night at the Lodge/ Resort at Bharatpur.
Day 05: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
The exploration of the rich reserve of flora and fauna continues well on to the fifth day of the trip. A full-day bird watching in the sanctuary will help you come across a wide variety of birds and wildlife inhabiting the park. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Lodge/ Resort at Bharatpur.
Day 06: Bharatpur - Delhi - Tour Concludes
A filling breakfast at the lodge will invigorate you to make the most of your morning visit to the park. At the conclusion of the tour, you will be driven back to Delhi where you can board your flight/train back home.
