Destination: Cochin - Kumarakom - Alleppey - Cochin
Day 01 : Cochin
As soon as you arrive at the Cochin airport / railway station, you will be met by our tour representative who will assist you in your transfer to the hotel. Unwind in the comforts of the hotel room and savor a sumptuous lunch before going across the Cochin Harbor to Fort Cochin. You will be embarking on a sightseeing trip that will involve your visits to the popular tourist highlights like the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing nets. At the conclusion of the day's trip you will be returning back to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 02 : Cochin - Kumarakom
On the second day of the Backwater Holidays tour, you will be hitting the streets for a three hour drive to Kumarakom. The long drive is of course preceded by a hearty breakfast. On reaching Kumarakom, you need to check in at a hotel / resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can also de-stress your fatigued nerves and muscles by availing of an invigorating Ayurvedic massage at the hotel / resort.
Day 03 : Kumarakom
The third day of your backwater holiday tour will be taken up by your visit to the Kumarakom Bair Sanctuary that is a paradise for the ardent bird lovers. You will have to return to your hotel/resort for breakfast and if you wish, you can pay visits to the neighboring farm houses. You have the rest of the day to yourself. You will be staying overnight at Kumarakom.
Day 04 : Aleppey
The next day will see you heading towards Alleppey as part of your Backwater Holidays tour. Sailing through the sleepy backwaters of Kerala amounts to an exhilarating experience. Charming villages, verdant paddy fields and picturesque sights, the nature enthusiasts can't ask for anything more. You will also love the taste of the traditional food that you get to sample here.
Day 05: Cochin
On Day 5 you will be driving to Cochin and will be transferred to the airport / railway station on your arrival. This concludes your Backwater Holidays tour with Jet World Holidays.
