Day 01 : Ooty
Your Ooty Kumarakom Tour kicks off with your early morning arrival at Ooty where you will be received by our tour representative at the railway station. He will assist in your transference to the hotel and help you with the check-in formalities. The day is also scheduled for visits to a number of tourist attractions that include the Botanical garden and various churches of the town. You can spend the rest of the day in a relaxed way and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Ooty- Cochin (300 kms/ 6 hrs)
You will be heading to Cochin in the early morning. On arriving at Cochin you are required to check in at the hotel where you will be spending the night.
Day 03 : Cochin- Munnar (130 kms/4 hrs)
On the third day of the Ooty Kumarakom Tour, you will be beginning the day with a scrumptious breakfast. Post breakfast, you will be leaving for a half-day city tour of Cochin. Among the popular tourist draws that you will be visiting are included attractions like St. Francis' Church, the scenic Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch Palace and the 1568 Jewish Synagogue. The later half of the day is slated for a visit to Munnar. After arriving at Munnar, you will be checking in at a hotel and relaxing. You are required to spend the night in the hotel itself.
Day 04 : Munnar - Thekkady (160 kms/4.5 hrs)
The fourth morning of the Ooty Kumarakom Tour is devoted to the half-day tour to the town of Munnar. You will get to visit sprawling tea estates, Eravikulam National Park and the much famed Periyar wildlife reserve in Thekkady. On your arrival at Thekkady in Ooty Kumarakom Tour, check in at a hotel and stay overnight.
Day 05 : Thekkady- Kumarakom (135 kms/3.5 hrs)
You morning is made more beautiful by a boat ride on the tranquil Lake Periyar. The boat will facilitate your journey to the sanctuary. After having your breakfast, you will be leaving for Kumarakom. In Kumarakom, you will be visiting the reputed Kumarakom bird sanctuary. You will be spending the night at the hotel.
Day 06 : Kumarakom
