Destination: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry - Swamimalai - Tanjore
Day 01 : Arrive Chennai
On the first day of the South India Temple Tour, you will be received by our tour operator on your arrival at Chennai. You will be assisted by him on your transference to the hotel. You will be spending the night in Chennai.
Day 02 : Chennai (Kanchipuram)
On the second day of the South India Temple Tour, you will be driving to Kanchipuram. On reaching Kanchipuram, you will be embarking on a sightseeing trip. The trip will incorporate visits to the Kailasanthar temple, Ekambareshwar Temple, Vardarajanperumal temple and Sakiswarar temple. In the afternoon, you will be driving to Mahabalipuram followed by your transference to the hotel where you will be required to spend the night.
Day 03 : Chennai (Mahabalipuram) - Pondicherry
On third day of the South India Temple Tour, will find you embarking on a sightseeing trip of Mahabalipuram where you get to pay visits to the popular tourist attractions like the Shore Temple, The Five Raths, The Arjuna's Penanace and the Tiger Cave. In the afternoon, you will be heading towards Pondicherry. On reaching Pondicherry, you will be transferred to the hotel. You will be required to spend the night in Pondicherry.
Day 04 : Pondicherry - Swamimalai
The fourth day of the Temple Tour of South India will be devoted to the sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. You get to pay visits to the popular places of interests that include the Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville. In the afternoon, you will be driving to Swamimalai. Along the way, you can pay visits to Chidambaram and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. On reaching Swamimalai, you will be transferred to the hotel. You will be spending the night in Swamimalai itself.
Day 05 : Swamimalai - Tanjore
The next morning, you will find yourself driving to Tanjore after having your breakfast. You get the opportunity to pay visit to the Brihadeshwara temple. You will be spending the night in Tanjore.
Day 06 : Departure
The South India Temple Tour wraps up in the sixth day, when you head to the airport or the railway station for your onward journey.
