Destination: On Board Vrinda - Aleppey
Day 01 : Arrival
At 01 PM After all the guests have made themselves comfortable on board the Oberoi Motor Vessel Vrinda, the cruiser sets sails cruising its way along the chief waterway of Lake Vembanad. The guests can enjoy their lunch which is served on board. After a four hour long trip along the breathtakingly beautiful waterways, the cruiser returns to the Vembanad Lake, just in time to watch the heavenly sunset. Kathakali dance performances are organized during the evenings. At night the vessel drops anchor at the Vembanad Lake jetty. The guests will enjoy their dinner on board.
Day 02 : On Board Vrinda, With A Rice Boat Excursion
At 7 AM in the morning, Oberoi Motor Vessel Vrinda will resume its journey southwards to Aleppey from the Vembanad Lake jetty. The guests can savor their breakfast on board. The vessel enters the waterways of the Pamba River through the Aleppey canal. The guests get to explore the beauty of the enchanting backwaters and observe the life along these "water highways" from close quarters. The vessel drops anchor near Kanjippadam from where the guests resume their journey on board a traditional rice boat which steers its way through the narrower sections of the backwaters. A guide will provide authentic and first hand inputs on the lifestyle unique to this region. The guests also get to pay a visit to the half-statue of Lord Buddha at Karumadi and a traditional Kerala tharavad.
In the latter half of the day, the guests come back to Oberoi Motor Vessel Vrinda where they can gorge on their lunch while the boat passes through mesmerizingly beautiful stretches of the backwaters on the way back to Alleppey. It is of little wonder that it is referred to by the sobriquet the "Venice of the East". Motor Vessel Vrinda drops anchor for the night at the Vembanad Lake jetty. Dinner is served on board.

Day 03 : On Board Vrinda, With A Rice Boat Excursion
At 7 AM Oberoi Motor Vessel Vrinda sets sails from the Vembanad Lake jetty and progresses South, past Kanjippadam. Vrinda anchors close to Chambakulam where guests will be transferred onto the rice boat for a delightful pre-lunch sightseeing excursion. This section of the pleasure jaunt incorporates visits to St. Mary's Church, founded by St. Thomas in 1721 and Sree Bhagavathy Kshetram - a quaint Hindu temple at Nedumuddy, dedicated to Mother Goddess. The Chambakulam snake boat yard is also looked upon as a top rated tourist highlight. It showcases one of the traditional long snake boats used in races. The guests will be assisted by a knowledgeable and experienced guide all through.
In the afternoon, Motor Vessel Vrinda will return to Vembanad Lake. Its then time for a highly enjoyable "Mohiniattam" recital on board. The graceful moves of the dancers complemented by bright traditional costumes and emotive facial expressions will leave you thoroughly impressed. Dinner is served on board.
Day 04 : Departure
At 8 AM Oberoi Motor Vessel Vrinda will sail towards the North along the primary waterway channel on the Vembanad Lake. You can enjoy your breakfast on board after which the cruiser returns to the Vembanad Lake jetty. Guests will check out at 10.00 hours and can avail of the facility of air-conditioned vehicles that will transport them back to Cochin.
